Welcome to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Toys for Tots campaign page. We look forward to the 2026 campaign and to helping as many children and families as possible during the holiday season.

We are also proud to work alongside local nonprofit organizations, businesses, community partners, and volunteers who support our shared mission of bringing holiday joy to children throughout the Charlotte-Mecklenburg community.

2026 Campaign Dates and Information

Individual Family Toy Requests

Families seeking toy assistance may register during the following period:

• October 1: Registration opens

• November 15: Registration closes

• December 11–12: Individual family toy distribution

Nonprofit Organizations Requesting Toys

Nonprofit organizations requesting toys may register during the following period:

• October 1: Registration opens

• November 15: Registration closes

• December 14–16: Nonprofit toy distribution

Businesses Interested in Becoming a Collection Site

Local businesses, organizations, and holiday events can support Toys for Tots by hosting a collection site.

Campaign collection-site dates include:

• October 12–16: Collection-box drop-offs

• December 1–7: Collection-box pickup

Please review the Collection Site section for additional information on hosting a toy collection box at your business, organization, or event.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer opportunities are available from November 30 through December 18.

• November 30: First day to volunteer

• December 18: Last day to volunteer

Volunteer duties may include:

• Sorting, counting, and bagging toys

• Assisting with individual family toy distribution

• Assisting with nonprofit organization toy distribution

Required Volunteer Forms

All volunteers must complete the following forms before volunteering:

• Hold Harmless Agreement

• Gratuitous Service Agreement

Copies of both forms will be available at the warehouse. These documents must be completed before entering the warehouse floor.
